MANGO CUTTING MADE EASY
- Slice mango lengthwise through flesh on each side of the long slim pit in the centre.
- Lay the two halves, or “cheeks,” on cutting board. With knife, score the flesh of each half in crosshatch pattern, carefully cutting to, but not through, skin.
- Gently push against the skin so that the cubes on the cut side pop upward.
- Slice off sections at the skin. Voila - chopped mango, fast.
- Mangoes freeze well, in cubes or pureed
