Summary

After taking the Betty Blogger summer school I would rate my knowledge of Web 2.0 as an 8ish.

The Library Lady and Betty Blogger met my expectations.  BTW...congrats on the wedding Library Lady!

The most challenging part of Betty Blogger was finding the time to do it, with vacations and covering for people at work it was sometimes a struggle.

I needed help with some of the instructions (from my KIDS!!) because I don't speak the language. I think now I can hold my own and maybe not bother them so much.

I would definitely recommend this program to my friends.

Library Thing was very easy to use but I would probably still use BPL catalogue in the future.

Google Reader

I subscribed to Kraft Canada-Quick and easy summer meals as well as Discovery Health and Women's Health Magazine.

I found this website very easy to use and I would probably continue to use it in the future.

PBWiki

The dish that I am bringing to the family potluck meal is my famous broccoli salad. I found PBWiki easy enough to use but I don't think I would ever have the need to use it in the future.  I do, however, understand how it could be useful to someone else.

How to Cut a Mango

MANGO CUTTING MADE EASY

• Slice mango lengthwise through flesh on each side of the long slim pit in the centre.
• Lay the two halves, or “cheeks,” on cutting board.  With knife, score the flesh of each half in crosshatch pattern, carefully cutting to, but not through, skin.
• Gently push against the skin so that the cubes on the cut side pop upward.
• Slice off sections at the skin. Voila - chopped mango, fast.
• Mangoes freeze well, in cubes or pureed

I'm not sure if Halo was the tag or not.  It was written underneath the picture.  I didn't see anything that suggested tags or where to look for them.

Picasa had just about any picture you would be looking for so I thought it was a good site, however I probably would never use it.
